Introducing the Meramac Series: Premium Free-Standing Tents with Enhanced Features and Maximum Weather Protection

The Meramac series tents are all free-standing 2-pole designs with shock-corded fiberglass and aluminum ferrules. The ferrules serve as the "connectors" that hold the poles together, utilizing aluminum instead of steel to prevent rusting. The fiberglass poles are typically one size larger than standard, providing a sturdier and stronger tent. The tents feature lightweight yet durable polyester fabrics. The side walls remain uncoated to allow for breathability under the urethane-coated fly. To ensure excellent rain protection, the fly incorporates a top pole, creating an awning over each door. Unlike some other tents, our fly extends full length on the sides for enhanced weather protection, rather than being 3/4 length. We take extra measures to maximize water repellency by having our factory seal the seams on both the floor and fly. Easy entry and exit are facilitated by two doors, eliminating the need to crawl over others to reach the only door, particularly useful during nighttime. The second door also provides additional ventilation during hot and humid weather conditions. Our door zippers are of size #8, larger than most, ensuring increased durability. To assist with gear organization, mesh storage pockets and a gear loft are included.
