The Meramac series tents are characterized by their free-standing 2-pole designs, featuring shock corded fiberglass with aluminum ferrules. The poles are held together by aluminum ferrules, chosen for their rust-resistant properties. The fiberglass poles are intentionally one size larger than average, providing a sturdier and stronger tent structure. These tents utilize lightweight yet durable polyester fabrics, with uncoated side walls to allow for proper breathability beneath the urethane coated fly. The fly incorporates a top pole, creating awnings over each door to ensure excellent rain protection. Unlike some other tents, the fly in the Meramac series is full length on the sides, offering superior weather protection. The seams on both the floor and fly are sealed by the factory to maximize water repellency. Enhanced convenience is provided through the presence of 2 doors, allowing easy entry and exit without the need to crawl over others. The second door also enhances ventilation during hot and humid weather conditions. The #8 door zippers, larger than most, ensure added durability. Mesh storage pockets and a gear loft are included to assist in organizing gear effectively.
