The AGM NVG-40 is a cutting-edge dual-channel night vision system with a wide 40° field of view. Its advanced multi-coated optics and durable composite housing ensure exceptional performance in low-light conditions. Operating on a single AA alkaline or CR123A battery, it can run up to 20 hours and features an integral infrared illuminator for dark environments.

For hands-free use, the NVG-40 is compatible with various mounts, including AN/PVS-7D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15, and AN/PVS-18, as well as mounts with a mini-rail interface. It comes with multiple interface shoe options, including preinstalled NVG Interface Shoe for standard dovetail mounts, Bayonet/Horn Interface Shoe for bayonet/horn mounts, and optional NVG Interface Shoe with Connector for dovetail mounts and Battery Pack connection. The NVG-40 also includes a Mini-Rail Interface Shoe for mini-rail mounts (included with AGM Goggle Kit W and AGM Helmet Mount).

Featuring a redundant dual-tube design, the NVG-40 provides true stereoscopic vision and a bright light cut-off feature for tube protection.
